The Revolt should be building....

Further Commentaries on the mess we are in….

I am growing more optimistic about the coming debate on the issues.

Rush as taken up the debate in a more open manner and in many ways
defining the issues and terms of the debate, much more I might add than the republican presidential candidates.

The issues are clear: Immigration!, Victory in the War!, and Taxation!

What really fueled my optimism was the few minutes I spent listening, with great amusement I might add, to Congressman Steny Whoyer (and yes, I know - I misspelled name).

Whoyer stood there in the well of the congress, with his mop of silver white hair in perfection, looking and trying his best to sound stately, dressed in his pin stripped Italian suit, well tailored, shining shoes and, of course, the great silence that can only be heard in such an esteemed chamber.

After all, it is the congress that has perfected the art of bloviating, greatly elevating it as an art form – that is, they talk about the great issues of our times, castigate each other for not doing anything, talk around the margins of the issues, but in the end they never get anything done for the people! They are the artful dodger.

But I digress, Whoyer was speaking to all who would listen telling us that he had been a legislator for 40 years (like that really qualifies him for anything other than being a dog catcher).

Whoyer was trying to appeal to the American people as he was scolding the Republicans for criticizing the efforts of Charlie Rangel to "reform" the tax code.

Whoyer told us that Rangel, the Harlem socialists, was courageous, for he was only attempting to have the government pay as we go. In reality, what Whoyer was addressing was the stupidity (consequences) known as the Alternative Minimum Tax that with bracket creep and other forms of tax code manipulation has gripped the middle class now. And who came up with this AMT? Ta' socialists democrats. A policy that has become an ATM for politicians... but again I digress….

Whoyer told us these reforms are necessary to "balance the budget and return fiscal responsibility to government." He did not tell the truth, what he was doing was protecting his tenure as a 40-year careerist legislator who has never hit a slick at a black snake in his entire life, like most democrats, he has lived off the public dole for far too long - his entire adult life (professional politician). Just look at them starting with Bill and Hillary Clinton on down.

I must say I was about to turn the station when this moron looked seriously into the camera, complete with the dramatic pause - and then he said, "It takes real courage to add revenues when you are cutting taxes." Excuse me? Is that oxymoronic or what?

He was looking at the Republicans as he finished the statement pointing his old bony little finger at them telling them in effect that it takes courage to raise taxes, exempt some classes of individuals from paying taxes at all (many of which were not paying taxes anyway) and raise taxes on YOU –

YES I SAID YOU - The American Rich, the wealthy in America,

1. those of you who start businesses,
2. run small businesses,
3. invest their capital and labor,
4. live life by the rules,
5. seek to educate your children, and
6. live a good meaningful life –

all of you making from $80,000 up!

What takes courage is for politicians to start CUTTING spending and stop treating the American taxpayer as if he or she is some kind of over paid greedy individual who is not paying his or her fair share....

Listen up Rangel and Whoyer – we pay enough taxes, we are not philanthropist!, and the federal government is not the bipartisan party of government's personal bank account!

What we see in Washington D.C. are greedy careerist politicians dividing up the productive output of the American taxpayer as if it belongs to them -

Listen up Whoyer and Rangel - MY MONEY DOES NOT BELONG TO YOU!

It is time to tell these greedy politicians they need a shot of testosterone - get some real courage - cut spending, cut our taxes - return America to its roots, stand up to the socialists in both parties, resign from the bipartisan party of government, and like Nancy Reagan said, "JUST SAY NO!"

The revolt should be on folks, against:

1. the continuing un-enforcement of our immigration laws (the bipartisan party of government acts as if it is paralysed - it simply lacks courage and we should feed it with feed back!);

2. defeatists - American apostates - trying to use our military and foreign policy as a political pawn for political gain (Americans do not oppose the war what they oppose is the rancor and dishonesty in Washington D.C., particularly when you compare the class of people sitting as so-called congressional/national leaders and then compare them to the class of people serving in our armed forces); and

3. the growing threat of the imposition of socialism through the tax code, the take over of the medical industry by the unqualified, and the coming collapse of the Social Security System and the coming socialization of retirement by the STATE.

STAND UP AMERICA! YOU ARE SALT AND LIGHT!

STAND UP TO THE SYCHOANTIC SOCIALISTS WHO ARE RUINING YOUR NATION!

STAND UP AND FIGHT!

EXERCISE YOUR RIGHTS,

THE MOST POWERFUL ENTITY IN OUR POLITICAL SYSTEM IS YOU,

BUT IF YOU DO NOT VOICE YOUR OPINION,

IF YOU CHOOSE TO SIT ON YOUR BLESSED ASSURANCE,

YOU ALLOW OTHERS TO RULE OVER YOU!

I urge each of you to call your legislators and Congressman Steny Whoyer and voice your opinion... today!
